Mark Welch 

Mark has been the Club Professional at Chelmsford since 1998 taking over from Dennis Bailey who was Professional for 39 years.  Therefore Chelmsford have had only 2 Club Professionals in the last 50 years!  Mark specialises in custom fit and teaching and plays occassionally in regional trournaments but spends more time playing golf with the members of Chelmsford.  Mark trained at the Open venue Princes Golf Club but originates from Chester in the North West of England.

 Jon Tarling

Jon is also an expert in custom fitting and has a reputation for hitting the golf ball into the distance.  You are welcome to challenge Jon to a long driving competition and I am sure he will flex his muscles to show who is the undisputed champion of Chelmsford.

Lucy Clarke

Lucy is currently in her 2nd year of training and at the end of 3 years will be a fully qualified P.G.A. Professional.  Lucy has built an excellent reputation with her teaching skills and especially with the junior section where she has established a series of group sessions to improve all age ranges.
